Rochester Christmas Parade Congratulates Junior Grand Marshals!
Ramona Johnson from Rochester High School and Jacob Walrath from ACE High School were selected to be the Jr. Grand Marshals in the 2015 Rochester Christmas Parade. Both of these students were selected from the Summer Leadership Youth Retreat with the Rochester Chamber of Commerce which educates the students about the history and important events in Rochester and promotes community awareness. Both students received a $1000 educational scholarship sponsored by Genisys Credit Union.
The Sunrise Pinnacle Awards were held at the Royal Park Hotel. Both students met their sponsor for the parade. Ramona and Jacob were honored with Grand Marshals Sue and Rod Wilson and served as gift bag presenters for all award winners during the presentation.
The Grand Marshal Celebration was held at Great Oaks Country Club. Both students were celebrated at the event and received their scholarship check and trophy, which highlighted the parade button design for 2015.

Interested in Carpooling?
Rochester High School is forming a list of families that would be interested in carpooling. Below you will find a form that can be turned into the main office once it is filled out. A contact list will then be created with all families that are interested in a carpool. The contact list will then be emailed to all parties on the list - and only those parties on the list. It is up to the parents on the list to reach out to each other. This will be used as a resource for parents that are struggling with transportation issues.
